BIO
Kevin Webber impressed in his first season at Norwood and was named best junior. A strong overhead mark with a good lead, he showed early promise as a key forward. He made his debut in round 1, 1959 and played 14 games for the year.
He was a member of the 1960 Reserves premiership team. Named at centre-half forward, Webber was an important contributor in the club's first reserves flag since 1939, kicking 2.1 in a low-scoring Grand Final victory against Port Adelaide.
Webber then travelled with a Norwood squad to Kangaroo Island during the October holiday long weekend. The side which consisted mainly of reserves players, defeated a combined Kangaroo Island Football League team.
He played another five senior games in 1960, and one game in 1961. He then joined South Whyalla Football Club where he played 25 games and kicked 27 goals from 1961 to 1962; his final year included a premiership and club best and fairest.
He returned to league football in 1966, playing 41 games for Central Districts over the following three seasons
