Tom Wagner played eight games for the Norwood reserves in 2020 having played his early football with Payneham Norwood Union in the Adelaide Footy League including a division one premiership in 2019.
 
Wagner made his league debut against Port Adelaide in round one 2021 and went on to make six senior appearances in his first year, impressing with his work in the forward lines.

He made another seven appearances in 2022 before moving back to Payneham Norwood Union.

In 2023 he played in a losing division two Adelaide Footy League Grand Final against Golden Grove.
