BIO

After moving with his family from Tintinara to Kensington, Scott Robinson started his junior football for the Redlegs in the Under 12s. He progressed through the club's special squads and won premierships playing for the Under 17 and Under 19 teams.

He made his senior debut in the 1992 pre-season Foundation Cup series against West Adelaide at Football Park. At season's end, the high-marking rebounding defender was selected by the Sydney Swans in the national draft at pick number 35.

Deciding to play another season at The Parade, he was one of Norwood's best players in its loss to Woodville-West Torrens in the 1993 SANFL Grand Final.

Robinson moved to Sydney in 1994. He was unable to break into the league team coached by Ron Barassi and consequently played the season out in their reserves.  He was delisted at the end of the year.

Returning to Adelaide, Robinson completed the 1995 pre-season with the Adelaide Crows before eventually rejoining the Redlegs. He struggled to keep a regular spot in the senior side. However, he did win the Reserves best and fairest award and was a key player in the Norwood team that defeated South Adelaide by 78 points in the 1995 Reserves Grand Final.

Robinson showed better form in 1996, but moved to Sturt the following year, where he added another 77 league games to his career total.
