BIO

Leslie Berry served in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) in Egypt and France during World War I from 1915, returning to Australia in 1919.

After the war he played 13 games for Norwood. Leslie played in the Grand Final in 1920, losing to North Adelaide and ended his career in Victoria after being cleared to Footscray. He left the club in 1921 to join West Adelaide.  Leslie was described at the time as  “… a wingman, fast but not particularly robust”. 

Leslie Berry  died in 1928.
