In the South Australian Register 30 July 1892 Supplement p 2 it is noted that " a junior, Bailey will take the place of R Wilson". However at the end of the same article the spelling changes to Bayley in the list of players. Bayley appears in the following game, also against South Adelaide, and in his third and final game against Port Adelaide at Adelaide on 13 August 1892
The former PAC archivist Tony Aldous mentions Charles Morton Bailey as a possible Norwood player. Bailey attended PAC from 1884 to 1891. Seem to recall he was rated “slow” in one of the PAC critiques.
C. Bayley, a member of the Maylands Football Club, is praised for his singing ability in an item which appeared in the Express & Telegraph, Thu 8 Aug 1889 p 4.
